Gravatar: globally recognized avatars

Surf on blogs much? Hate having to go throug the trouble of creating a new user account every time and upload a new profile picture to validate your online identity?

Or if you are web developer or just someone with a modicum of geekness like me and want to develop a website that allows its users to personalize or "brand" their interaction with your site...

Gravatar, or "globally recognized avatar", has a solution for you!

In short, Gravator "is quite simply an avatar image that follows you from blog to blog appearing beside your name when you comment on gravatar enabled sites." Your avatar of choice is associated with an email address (which you may have multiples of, and thus, multiple associations) and whenever you leave a comment or interact with a Gravatar-supported site, the avatar will automatically appear next to your handle depending on the email you enter.

As of last week, I've turned this site into a Gravatar-supported site thanks to the Drupal Gravatar module so you should see your Gravatar if you have an account...
