Cal Hep B Free PSA (2008)
Cal Hep B Free is a student-initiated, grassroots campaign at University of California Berkeley to address the high-incidence of hepatitis B among ethnic minorities. Its slogan is "B SMART, B TESTED, B FREE!" and its specific objective is to create a scalable and sustainable model to dispel misconceptions, create campus awareness, and promote routine hepatitis B screenings at a college campus community. Supported by a coalition of over fifty Community Partners including Vice Chancellor Harry Le Grande, City of Berkeley Publich Health Division, and Assemblywoman Fiona Ma, Cal Hep B Free allows UC Berkeley to join San Francisco in eradicating hepatitis B worldwide. The Cal Hep B Free Steering Group is made up of the ASUC, the ASUC Auxiliary, and Team HBV.
